It has been remarakably difficult to get back in the groove of regular blogging. I keep making a few faltering steps, but life just gets in the way. Last year saw us start two new businesses, close one of them, remake the other and try to keep the main operation running smoothly. As a result, I never really had a solid footing to blog from. Maybe this year???
Several people have recently asked me to do tattoo designs for them. I will post some pictures as they give their approval of the final work...hopefully I will have the chance to photograph and/or tape the projects. I hope to actually have a couple of flash sheets of my work finished before summer (now if any of thh shops will use them...another story).
On the personal tattoo front, the "Wild THings" project is slated to be finished on January 30, 2006. As soon as it heals, there will finally be photographs and a gallery on this project. For whatever reason, this one needed to be done without a video or photographic documentary of the process. Of course, with a project almost finished, my mind is racing towards some new work. This may be the year to actually have one of my own designs inked into the old skin canvas - we'll have to see.
Stickbugs, you ask? Once again we have two male Australians that hatched late and are prowling about living fine, long lives without any girlfriends. The Indians had a very small hatching and they are down to only three or four. For ease of care, they are all in together, with the main Australian enclosure resting for the new babies the end of February or early March. I have taken some time to just enjoy these little beasties instead of constantly photographing them. Many new ideas for the Sticks gallery will be posted (yeah, haven't we heard THAT before!), so don't go away!
Paintball and Airsoft will be figuring pretty heavy in the blog - unless there is a decision to create a seperate blog for that part of our lives. Jester Paintball & Airsoft is probably getting a new name - keeping the Jester I designed and making it a little more creative. Any ideas? Here is the Jester logo(c)...
Hmmmm...guess that is it (but what about playing bass - your kids - the lovely Miss Penny - you ask?). More to follow, OK?
