Yesterday was great! Our father-son tattoo is done. No photos of mine, not that it matters (go peek at David's since they are the same). The rush is in the application. I really enjoy my ink after it has healed, but the most memorable part is the sting of the needle.
Now that the doves are done, I can consider the next moves. The right armband is most likely to take front stage next. My mood swings between several options, but it is important to me for the right arm to "work" with the Grateful Dead bears on my left arm. At one point, the plan was to do all color on the left side and black and grey on the right. That went out the window when Miss Penny declared that she prefers color...if she likes color, then color it will be! That throws out all of my ideas for a tattoo of one of Barry Moser's great wood prints. The thought process in in gear, so we will see what ends up on the blank arm.
Stick bugs? They don't seem to understand that they shouldn't wander around when someone wants to take a picture. Someone suggested putting them in the refrigerator to "slow them down" before taking the photos. I don't think so - I really do like the strange little beasts and would not want to risk hurting them. I WILL keep trying...
